ClinicYou incorporates robust enterprise level security, making it immediately far more secure than existing arrangements for many clinicians. We have taken great care in sourcing the most secure hosting platform for ClinicYou, ensuring physical security of your data. The software was developed using enterprise class tools to maximise security.

Transport between your computer and the server uses a high-graded 128-bit encryption to secure transmission over the internet, similar to online banking services. Keeping your data secure in your own premises and on your mobile devices is expensive and difficult, with security breaches all too common. ClinicYou frees you from having to worry about the security of patient information, security updates or disaster recovery plans.

You essentially use the service to run your practice. Patient records created by patients themselves or through your account will remain independent of how it was created - in other words, patient records are a stand alone entity, and your account acts as a conduit to view and edit the data contained in them. If your clinicians have made entries in the notes, or a patient has attended an outpatient visit, the records will be visible to you. A patient or clinician from another practice can choose to share the record with clinician(s) in your practice.

Operational data (like invoicing and scheduling) remain with your account always.

Neither ClinicYou Ltd. nor its employees access your patient's clinical records.

ClinicYou is a patient centered application. That means each patient record is unique across the whole application. This allows clinicians to view and contribute to the same unique patient data from any location. Avoiding duplicate patient records is vital to this. We therefore encourage individual registration of patients as chances are that they already have a record on ClinicYou, created by other clinicians. If you are sure your patients have no pre-existing records on ClinicYou, we may be able to import the data for you. Please contact us to discuss this further.

You get full access to all the tools within ClinicYou, including the electronic patient records (EPR), scheduling, dictation and invoicing. With ClinicYou you get the most advanced online system in its field developed by clinicians for clinicians. Unlike some software systems, there is no limit or tiered pricing for using these essential tools. Your data storage and back up of data is included in your subscription. Most of our users have found that no specialist training is required to use ClinicYou EMR and practice management features. The whole system was designed with ease of use in mind. However, if you feel that training is essential, we can arrange for this at an additional charge. Please contact us to discuss further.

ClinicYou Ltd. is an agile software company and we will continuously release updates and enhancements to the application, where possible without causing disruption to services. If there are major system changes are needed, you will be given plenty of time to plan your clinic activity around this. Updates are free and will be available to all users.

You can choose to keep the data secure online for a substantially reduced subscription charge. Once this is done, you may re-open the account and access the data for a one-off fee if required.

You can cancel the account by going to My Account / ClinicYou Invoices and clicking the cancellation link at the bottom.

ClinicYou is an exclusive product created by ClinicYou Ltd, a progressive minded UK based company which was formed to develop the  software. It was conceptualised by clinicians in practice and the coding was done by a professional team.
